We provide a safe space to understand what may be happening, respect different perspectives, and to find a path forward through connection and communication

Couples Therapy/Intimate Partner Therapy can be a wonderfully enriching process for any relationship, not just those experiencing difficulties. It can deepen connection and love, support a relationship through new stages, and offer the chance to get to know yourself and your partner on levels you hadn't reached before.

Most often couples who are struggling are the ones who come to therapy. Many arrive having exhausted the options of self-help and are ready for professional support. Choosing to start intimate partner therapy is rarely an easy decision, and that courage deserves recognition. The process can be deeply rewarding and healing, but it can also mean confronting difficult, long-standing patterns within the relationship.

Partners tend to benefit most when they enter therapy with curiosity, an openness to recognising how each person has played a part in co-creating the difficulties, and a willingness to step outside their comfort zone to make meaningful, lasting change.

At the Bodart Practice, we work with couples/polycules from a wide range of relationship types, including:

o   Cross-cultural, cross-racial, or cross-ethic group relationships

o   Cross-religious relationships

o   Couples navigating Gender, Sexual, and Relationship Diversity (GSRD) related issues

o   Polyamorous polycules and people in ethically/consensually non monogamous (ENM/CNM) relationships

o   People from the LGBTQI+ community

o   Heterosexual, monogamous couples

We also support couples/intimate partners working through a wide range of issues, including:
