NUTRITION FOR MENTAL HEALTH

The Mood-Food Connection

There’s no doubt about it; the nutrients we put into our bodies have an intimate relationship with our mental health. There are key nutrients that the brain requires to enable it to work efficiently, and what goes on in the gut can affect what is going on the brain. But knowing what and how to eat isn’t easy as we are constantly bombarded with messages about diet, weight and shape. More than that, our nutrition is personal and based on our own lifestyles, habits, and our genetics. Understanding your unique nutritional needs and finding balance will have huge benefits on your gut, brain and mental health.

We offer personalised nutritional coaching and therapy for tailored individual support alongside our talking therapies.
