MINDFULNESS AND TRAUMA INFORMED YOGA
1:1 Trauma-Informed Integrative Somatic Yoga
Trauma lives in the body as much as the mind, and true healing comes through reconnecting with both. Rooted in yoga and somatic awareness, Ana’s approach blends gentle movement, breathwork, and mindfulness to help clients feel safe, embodied, and at ease.
How this type of practice can help:
Release stored tension and stress patterns.
Support emotional resilience and nervous system regulation.
Deepen the connection to self through mindful movement and breath.
Drawing on the ancient wisdom of yoga, along with insights from somatic trauma research, Ana will guide you towards a sense of balance, empowerment, and inner healing—one breath at a time.

Mindfulness Meditation
This practice is rooted in the Buddhist tradition of mindfulness meditation. This is the foundational teaching from which many contemporary therapeutic approaches, including MBSR and MBCT, draw their core principles. Trained in this tradition with teacher Cyndi Lee, Ana Maria offers instruction in the original practice itself: learning to rest the mind in present-moment awareness, cultivating calm abiding, developing self-compassion and cultivating equanimity as a natural quality of attention.
This is not a clinical programme, but an invitation to meet your own experience with steadiness and care.
This practice may be particularly well-suited for those who:
Are already engaged in therapy and looking for a complementary practice to support their inner work
Are navigating stress, low mood, or a general sense of disconnection from themselves
Want to develop a sustainable, personal meditation practice over time
Mindfulness meditation isn't the right fit for everyone. For some, sitting in stillness can feel unsettling rather than calming, and that is important to acknowledge. If you are unsure whether this practice is suitable for you right now, please do speak with your therapist.
Ongoing Sessions: A Supportive Integration
These sessions offer continuous support alongside any therapeutic work you're doing, weaving mindfulness and body-based practices into your personal healing journey.
How it works:
Sessions are tailored to complement psychological therapy, deepening your connection to self-awareness and regulation
We work with what’s alive for you in the moment, creating space for reflection, release, and integration
Ongoing sessions offer flexibility and continuity, evolving as your needs shift
